The single most important resource for the Minster Historical Society, and the one for which members are most grateful, is the Volunteer.
That volunteer support is vital to the life of the organization and the museum in particular. During open hours for the museum, volunteers and docents are always needed to welcome guests and collect the historical artifacts that are being donated, or to help visitors navigate the research room or a current exhibit. Help is also needed for special one-time events.
Every hour of a volunteer’s time allows the Society to follow the mission of preserving, protecting and presenting the history of Minster and the surrounding area. If you are new to the area, volunteering is a great way to meet people and learn about the area’s history. Cleaning, research, computer work or baking cookies is always appreciated.
